Koncham Ishtam Kocham Kashtam Movie Review

Hi everyone!
This is my first post, so I might not be very good. I promise as time goes on, I will get better!

Konchem Ishtam Koncham Kashtam

Director: Kishore Kumar (Dolly)
Cast: Siddarth, Tamanna, Prakash Raj, Ramyakrishna, Venumadhav, Nazar, Sudha, Brahmanandam
Producer: Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji)
Release Date: February 5th, 2009

Siddarth is a happy go lucky person, always fooling around with girls and enjoying life as it is. Geeta Subramaniyam (Tamanna Bhatia) lives in Hyderabad with her uncles family. They both meet through some common friends, but originally have bad vibes between them. As time goes on though, Siddarth and Tamanna find happiness with one another. As Geeta soon finds out, Siddarth has been through much sorrow-his parents are divorced. Prakash (Prakash Raj) and Rajyalaskmi (Ramya Krishna) seperated eighteen years ago, and Siddarth had been through some tough times.
One day, when Geeta goes back to her village, Siddarth realizes how much he loves her and follows her there. When he goes to ask for her hand in marriage, Geeta's father (Nazar) tells him that he is not willing to give his daughter to a family in which the parents are seperated. Dejected, Siddarth comes up with the proposal that if he can unite his parents, he should be able to marry Geeta. Therefore, Siddarth and Geeta return to Hyderabad and make their attempts to unite his parents. How Siddarth and Geeta unite Prakash and Rajyalakshmi forms the rest of the story.

Siddarth is in his usual lover boy, chocolate boy role as Siddarth. He emotes well, allowing the viewer to sympathize with him, laugh with him and cry with him. Tamanna, of Happy Days fame, does justice to her role as Geeta. At times cheerful, at times angry, and most of the time cute, she looks really pretty, and her action speaks for itself. Prakash Raj, Ramyakrishna, and Nazar all fit their roles perfectly, as the parents of the lead characters.

Overall, this movie is worth the wait and the watch. At times it becomes a drag, mainly towards the second half, but on the whole it is a family entertainer.A movie that you can sit down and watch with your entire family. Be sure to catch it sometime soon.

4.5/5
